Dyed Fabric

In this process the fabric is dyed with a colored substance that has an affinity to the substrate to the fabric it is applied to. Dyeing gives beautiful, unique fabric designs.

Batik Fabric

A method of dyeing fabric where wax or glue paste is used cover those areas on the fabric which are not to be dyed. Later on the wax is taken off by boiling.

Spandex Fabric

Spandex is known for its shape retention quality and is resistant to dry heat and oil. It is lightweight with comfort and flexibility.

Pillow-top Mattress

Pillow-top mattresses have an additional layer of foam or padding atop the regular mattress. Percale

Percale, aka. “plain weave” cotton, refers to a weave of cotton in which one vertical thread is woven over one horizontal thread. Tighter than the standard weave used for bed linen, percale must have a thread count of at least 180, commonly over 200.

Sateen

Sateen is a weave of cotton in which four horizontal threads are woven over one vertical thread. The result is a smooth, silky texture with more of a sheen, though it has less space between threads and so breathes less than percale. Unsurprisingly, this generally results in higher thread counts.

Check Fabric

Check is the most popular and common fabric design with never-ending charm. Different types of check as upholstery fabric designs are used to make varied furnishing products. From small to large, all types and colors of checks are available.

Dobby

Dobby is a type of weave used mostly in geometrical form giving a unique fabric design pattern. This fabric is extensively used for making home furnishing products.

Jacquard

Jacquard fabric design patterns are larger than the dobby, and also more intricate. They are used for making upholstery and drapery products.

Flocking

Flocking is the process of depositing many small fiber particles (called flock) onto a surface. It can also refer to the texture produced by the process, or to any material used primarily for its flocked surface. Twill Weave

It is similar to plain weave. In this the warp yarns skip at regular predetermined intervals creating a diagonal rib in the weave.

Basket Weave

Two or more warp yarns cross alternately side-by-side with two or more filling yarns. It resembles a plaited basket.

Dobby Weave

A decorative weave which is characterised by small designs or geometric figures being woven in the fabric structure.

Leno Weave

In this the warp yarns are arranged in pairs. One yarn is twisted around the other between picks of the filling yarn.
